Mbali Sibisi is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in financial services and more than 15 years in the mining and related services sectors. Her expertise spans insurance, asset and wealth management, private equity, fintech, digital marketing technology, renewable energy, and smart mobility.

 

She has extensive experience in financing early-stage mineral development projects, project finance, asset finance, and other funding solutions that support business growth and commercialisation. Her strong commercial, financial, and strategic insight has enabled the growth of numerous organisations within the mining industry.

 

Mbali served as a Director of South African Women in Mining Investment Holdings (SAWIMIH) from 2018 to 2026, where she chaired the Investment Committee and served on the Audit and Risk Committee, championing women’s empowerment and sustainable growth in the mining sector.

 

She also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Vunani Securities Ltd and sits on the board of The Reflective Learning Foundation. Mbali holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of South Africa and an MBA from Durham Business School in the United Kingdom.
