WiMBIZSA’s Beneficiation & Mineral Value Addition Programme seeks to retain and create greater economic value from South Africa’s mineral resources by moving beyond extraction and the sale of raw materials towards processing, product development, manufacturing, and commercialisation.

The programme is geared towards creating meaningful economic participation for women, youth and mining communities, connecting mineral and mineral-derived resources to secondary industries and end markets.

Through ecosystem partnership model, WiMBIZSA will facilitate access to technical expertise, technology, enterprise development, funding, manufacturing partnerships, market access and offtake opportunities to support commercially viable beneficiation initiatives.
