Lindiwe Motshaba

Executive Member

Lindiwe Donna Motshaba is an accomplished finance professional, entrepreneur and purpose- driven leader with more than 19 years of experience across the FMCG, engineering and public sectors. A trained accountant, she brings extensive expertise in financial management, accounting and reporting, taxation, regulatory compliance, business development and organisational strategy.

Her ability to connect sound financial management with commercial growth has shaped her distinctive approach to entrepreneurship and strategic collaboration. She has co-founded three businesses across diverse sectors, as well as nonprofit organisations operating in South Africa and elsewhere on the African continent.

Lindiwe is passionate about economic transformation, sustainable community development and creating opportunities for young people, particularly women and girls. She previously served on the Board of Trustees of the House of Mandela Family Foundation, where she contributed her financial expertise and supported the oversight of community-focused programmes.

Her entrepreneurial achievements include being selected to represent South Africa in a young entrepreneurs’ programme in Germany in 2013 and being recognised among the Sowetan 100 Young Successful Entrepreneurs. As a member of the WIMBIZSA Board and Lead for Finance and Communications, Lindiwe brings financial leadership, entrepreneurial insight and a strong commitment to advancing women’s meaningful participation across the mining value chain.

Her focus includes strengthening WIMBIZSA’s financial sustainability, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement and market visibility.
